I am guilty of thinking I already know EVERYTHING about happiness and design, but your color combo this week stopped me in my tracks. Keep going, this is SO much fun!
Last Saturday, I hosted a dinner party for a few gals from church. It was immensely fun! The theme was obviously autumnal, so I decorated my home with loads of leafy garlands, tiny pumpkins, and bouquets of red and orange flowers. We ate Italian food, and we had apple pie sundaes for dessert! As far as entertainment goes, I put on a Gilmore Girls playlist, had board games and coloring books ready to go, and put on a movie. We ended up watching Dirty Dancing, which was so cozy and sweet. We ended the night with cozy chatter, and I feel as though I became closer to my friends through this little event. (I'm hoping to host another autumnal dinner party in November!)
That last quote ("Every lesson I learned as a kid was at the dinner table...") is a pretty accurate reflection of how I grew up and I really hope I can continue the tradition in coming years with my brand new family. :) It motivates me to be intentional with supper time, whether it's just my husband and I (and baby) or planning for guests. Posts like these get me so excited to host more in the future!

Okay we are likeminded!!! How was dinner?
It was great! Chicken pozole and quesadillas.

Love this, how sweet! I love that babies have that special baby power of making us all remember to create traditions.
Have you seen the new Gustaf Westman x IKEA collection? It’s right up your alley!
Yes! I love the collection so much! The mugs are my fav!
if we are already in the color club (yay!) should we have already gotten an email regarding a mailing address for the monthly art print?
You should have gotten an email asking for your address, but if you did not — will you send me a DM? I'll send you think link! Sorry about that!
