I love giving gifts to my girlfriends! I am a collector of ~things~ and love to have a little stock pile of random trinkets that made me think of them.
I love giving gifts to my coworkers! It feels very low stakes so I can be very fun and creative about what I get them since there really isn't so much pressure.
this is such a good take! honestly so nice to recieve gifts from coworkers too, it's nice to know the people you spend days upon days with actually like you lol
I love giving gifts to my mom! She always appreciates and uses what I gift her. It’s always a fun treat to see her wearing or cooking with something I’ve gifted her in past years when I’m home for the holidays ❤️ 💚 ❤️ 💚
I LOVE gift giving anytime throughout the year. I love making handmade gifts, or gifting thrift-me-downs that I know will find new life in a new home. Lately I have been thinking about how I can thoughtfully gift to friends that I have become close to this year, especially the ones that I know that have had a hard year. I think I might have to move in the next year, so I would love to express gratitude esp in this season before I might move away
i love gifting my sister!! we have so much in common that it’s always hard not to overdo it, and especially as i only really see her at the holidays, i tend to go a bit overboard!! she really deserves a special gift, and i always try and make them super creative for her :)
I love giving gifts to my papaw. He's super hard to buy for since he has everything he needs or wants. One year, I brought a super boozy Mary Berry fruitcake to the family Christmas Eve party (a tad controversial on my part...). My papaw was obsessed with it, so now his Christmas present from me is a boozy fruitcake. I've got pictures of him eating it with the best genuine smile, which in turn is a great gift to me.
I love giving gifts to my boyfriend! He never really got many christmas gifts growing up and now I get the chance to spoil him and show him how well I know him. I love curating the perfect combo of gifts that will surprise him and make him feel loved!
I loved this gift guide. I love how intentional all of your posts are, the time and dedication you put into everything you do shines through! 💖
I love giving gifts to my neighbor. Her love language is definitely giving— she babysits my cats when I’m gone and often makes very labor intensive projects for people she loves. It has been a beautiful thing to try to spoil someone so kind and giving ❤️
I love giving gifts to my daughter because she always has the most delightful reaction to even something small and simple (plus it feels like a sweet something I can do for my inner child too ✨
I love giving gifts to my partner, like me they just like opening gifts so they love anything I give them and make sure I know how much they appreciate them♥️♥️
my favourite person to buy gifts for is my mum, she’s helped me so much in the last couple years as i’ve been really unwell with an ED and so buying her little gifts has been another way for me to show appreciation for her! i’d buy her every star in the sky if i could!
i love giving gifts to my fiance! (1) he's very particular like me, so it's always like little scavenger hunt remembering offhanded things he said he wanted or remembering little inside jokes and details about him to craft/find the perfect gift that he didn't know he wanted. sometimes it is hard but the payoff to see him genuinely suprised and excited is so worth it! his gratitude is always so genuine, and i get the bonus gift of seeing him enjoy it in his day to day :) (2) he is the best gift giver and i'm a little competitive at heart, haha. it trains me to be a better listener and a better partner all around. as for my favorite gift i have waiting under the tree this year... i made a new friend in a pottery class i was scared to take and I am SO excited to give her the pottery crafting tools i found for her!!
thank you for your magazine! it's honestly such a hit of dopamine every time i log in. your time and creative efforts are so very appreciated. happy holidays!!
I have a friend named Luna, and she would never get anything for herself. She's so strict about the money she spends except when it comes to other people, that's when she becomes one of the most generous people you will ever meet. Whenever I get her something, I can see her eyes light up and that sparkle makes me happier than anything, really. No matter how small the gift, she never expects it and the sense of wonder and joy that floats around her for the rest of the day is just magical.
I enjoy giving gifts to my roommate! She appreciates beautiful things and when I gift her a product she enjoys using, it feels extra gratifying because she has higher standards haha… Living with her day to day it’s also cool to see how she uses the items I gift her- they’re not just in a drawer somewhere
I love giving gifts to my sisters, i always pay extra attention during the year if they say that they like something in a store. Then i write in down and buy it for christmas. The look on their faces when they know you have been paying attention is the best!
I love buying gifts for my bestie Tanner! She’s been in the military, lived a lot of places and recently became a mother! I like to pick out products and silly things that I know she’s loved since high school. It’s a reminder that as much as things change, that friend I met at 16 is still the same girl at heart!
I just love giving gifts period! I used to think my love language was receiving gifts and I realized what I loved and craved was the feeling of being thought of. Now, I love picking out gifts for people that make them feel the same, finding something that speaks to them, celebrates a time in their life or just makes them smile. There's nothing better than watching someone open a gift they absolutely love or even better are surprised by
i love to give gifts to people who i am not quite friends with yet, acquaintances. i love to show that i listen and understand. usually this takes form in a nice appliance for their apartment i visited once or a fashionable piece that reminds me of their distinctive style. or maybe even a form of physical media they can enjoy always, sometimes a record of their favorite artist or a bluray of a comfort film. it usually warms people's hearts and even if i don't get closer to these people, i feel good that i made their day once and their pieces can be used forever
I love giving to my two best friends- we make each other little advent calendars that over the years have gotten less little. Knowing someone so deeply, and being known in return, is one of the best things of my entire life and while I love our tradition, it’s not the gifts that make me happy but our friendship.
I love giving gifts to my younger sister. She is technically a millennial but lives her life like a Gen Zer, so is much cooler than me. I like to challenge myself to find items that will earn her seal of approval. ☺️
I love gifting to my two daughters. It brings me joy to buy them gifts that encourage their current hobbies and interests. We are big Feeling! Magazine fans. Merry Christmas!!
My favorite person to give gifts to would have to be my mom. She isn’t really into material objects, but I’m so excited to be gifting her the handmade gift of a beautiful hand painted (by me, of course) card, and a custom calendar this year. Both personal, and useful, one of the best kinds of gifts. It also feels so good to give back to her after all she does for me!
I would love to gift my husband quite literally anything in the gifts for guys section! He deserves it for working so hard and carrying such a heavy load for our family especially after living out of hotel / random airbnbs due to a house fire in June!
I’m close friends with my cousin and it’s so fun to pick out some fun, small nostalgic gifts to send along especially now that we’re across the country from one another. Sometimes we ask each other for a wish list and other times we freestyle, but it’s always lovely.
I love giving gifts, but I really love sending them to friends who don't live close. When we are always communicating through our screens, I love the idea that I still get to be involved in the mundane like opening mail! I always think getting *real* mail that you are excited is one of the joys left (USPS informed delivery takes a little out but just changes it from a surprise to anticipation!)
I love to give gifts to my parents! I’m finally in a financial place where I can get them a few nice things for the holidays and I love shopping on Etsy for niche gifts I think they’ll like. I gave my dad a recreation of a photo of us from an artist on Etsy for his birthday last year. He’s not a super emotional person, but when I saw his reaction and how much it meant to him, it was everything I could have ever hoped for.
giving gifts to me is the art of paying attention to someone you care about!🤍❄️
my favorite gifts to give and receive are simple, practical and handmade (if i have the skills👀). i like giving someone the slightly luxurious pan or towel they’d never buy for themselves.
a gift for every day is the most thoughtful, in my opinion!

I love giving gifts to my cousin--we both love getting and gifting special gifts and she's been a best friend pretty much my whole life. :)
My mom. We're very close. We lost my brother this year and she could use all the good cheer this holiday season.
My friends! Love giving them silly handmade gifts or random trinkets I find

wait this would be so fun to collect gifts over the year and then present them in an advent calendar!! i'm writing that down!!
It’s REALLY fun and it’s so nice during the year to be like “oh she’ll love this, let me just snag it” and then during December, wrap em all up!
