Is it possible to have a work space that exists in nature and a city? I love to write outside in the peace of the trees, but I also love to people watch and find a lot of inspiration in people's movement in a busy place
there’s something so brave about reopening the box you buried your dreams in and deciding to try again anyway
“good design invites us to arrive fully and functionally as ourselves” is such a beautiful line too. the whole piece feels less like decorating advice and more like building a life that finally has room for your future self to exist in it ✨
My dream work space is includes natural light, clutter free desk, a generous book shelf, and a cozy seating area to meet with clients or read. Thanks for the nudge to declutter and edit my office!
Honestly my dream workspace would be on a blanket in my backyard! Lol my back could neverrrr! So maybe a covered desk with a Herman miller chair in my backyard when it’s been freshly mowed and after a spring rain and the flowers are blooming!
dream workspace is a cozy corner desk with lots of shelves to display all my design books, trinkets, trillions of empty notebooks I'm working on filling. open windows where i can hear nature and iced latte that never melts <3
My dream workspace has built in bookcases with a cozy reading nook, a standing desk, and an ergonomic chair. It's filled with plants, natural light, inspiring artwork, and ceramic/3D-printed trinkets that bring me joy.
My current workspace is a corner of my living room, but a dream would be a dedicated office space with tons of light, stained glass windows, plenty of plants, a bookshelf, and a cozy spot for my dog to nap while I work!
my dream workspace has tons of natural light and is tucked into the mountains or woods away from noise pollution, definitely includes a rolling chair and has a high level of organization!
Absolutely loved reading this post! My dream creative workspace would have a fireplace, French doors that lead straight to the backyard and a wall full of books! And of course, a very aesthetic & well-designed chair 😉

Love the idea of investing in one piece you love to start. That can make designing the rest of the space feel so much easier / more fun!
