Sadly, I didn't finish my reading challenge but I did finish 5 books and I feel pretty good about that. Also I'm deep in a Heated Rivalry phase so I'll be speeding through the rest of that series very soon.

Hey, 5 is a TON! I am so impressed by those who got to 15! The important thing is you enjoyed reading :)

Don’t feel too alone in this! I finished more than I typically do but didn’t hit 15 either and I’m choosing to be proud of myself and am glad that I savored the stories that I did read! I am also in a reading challenge with myself to keep summer going into August because I love my sticker chart😊

From one Florida gal to another, love seeing the AMI shoutout in pics! I'm now an NYC resident but spend most weekends on the Jersey Shore, and summer is my favorite time of year because it feels like everyone's pursuing leisure — free from the daily grind that can run you down and zap your creative juices. Saving all your fab ideas for when I need a coastal boost this fall and winter!

You touched on this throughout, but one of the best ways I bring the beach back home with me is by continuing my beach reads at home. So simple, but super transportive — just like having a tropical scented bath product (another fab tip you already list!).

Thank you so much for sharing! I have been watching The Perfect Couple and The Five Star Weekend (both set in Nantucket) and it makes me already feel like I'm on the beach when I'm really near concrete beaches in Chicago :)

Also, murdoku is SO intriguing as someone that loves Sudoku! I am going to check it out. Thank you for sharing this!! I feel inspired with the playlist and maybe dressing the part a bit more with what I have.

Thank you Lynda! This is so kind! I just finished the last design tonight and am sending them to print! We are nearing the launch!

I loved this post immensely, but not going to lie, it made me wish I was still on my beach vacation! I spent the last few days in a nearby beach town, and they were magical! You perfectly captured the feeling of being on a coastal vacation. My days were filled with loved ones, crashing waves, gas station slushees, meals out, hours in the pool, sun hats, and sunscreen. Needless to say, this article came at the perfect time, and I can’t wait to implement these tips. Btw, the pictures were soo cute! My favorite was the goggles filled with seashells XD

Thank you, Penny! Nothing is a true replacement for the magic of being waterside. Sounds like your vacation was so restful and peaceful! And THANK YOU! I actually took that shell photo when I was in high school and wear it as a tumblr-era badge of honor! Haha

The realization that crossword puzzles only exist in your brain on vacation is uncomfortably accurate. Bringing sudoku into my Tuesday as an act of coastal self-care!
