For anyone thinking of getting this gift, I recommend getting it spiral bound (at no extra cost) instead of hardcover. The book has a much easier time staying open when it is spiral bound. No one wants to keep pressing the book open or having something hold the book down while you're busy with your hands in the kitchen!
