So far, I’ve read Bridget Jones’s Diary, the Notebook, and the Road to Tender Hearts. I am nearing the middle of Remarkably Bright Creatures. My strategy is to read anything that is on its own special table at B&N or has been made into a film; that means the books are immensely popular, and there’s likely good reason. So far, this strategy has yet to fail me, and it pushes me out of my literary comfort zone 😊
I feel like I am missing something obvious - How do I download a full summer bucket list image, rather than the image of the compilation in the newsletter? Thanks!
I love the idea of picking one area of the house to clean per day, instead of tacking it all onto the weekend. It seems so much more manageable!! Giving this a try :)
Just wanted to share that I have so much gratitude for the time put into curating this content and the brilliant community here!! Reading all the comments and encouragement about cleaning tips was so sweet. I am so glad I upgraded to the paid subscription, no regrets!! My favorite treat.
Oh this makes me so happy! The owner, Steffy, is really wonderful and kind! I just met her in person a month ago, and she radiates sunshine! Glad you supported her dream AND your friend's bags ;)
That’s lovely what you did for your husband! I surprise mine occasionally with a “mystery trip.” Sometimes it is a big trip - sometimes not so much. He loves them.
Just downsized from a rental house to an apartment while we save to buy a house - a huge endeavor with two little kids in tow! So all the cleaning advice was so timely and encouraging - and I am currently blasting the 2008 playlist as I get this new place put together. Always a joy and inspiration to see what you put together for your readers, thank you!
Thank you for reading, Michelle! Congrats on your move. I hope apartment living is a gift! And thank you for teaching your children the 2008 classics. We must relay "Come Clean" to the youths.
I first heard Come Clean from your Instagram post a few months ago, and it’s absolutely amazing! I also love So Yesterday (my favorite classic Hilary Duff song), and I adore her newest album (Future Trippin is my favorite from the album!). That being said, I was delighted to see her name scattered throughout the cleaning playlist!
"It’s been a redemptive spring, full of a busy pull-out couch and lots of washing towels and sheets." Love it!
⭐️ Using the comments as a Summer Reading Challenge check in! What books are you loving?

The Gravewood!
Love this! I am seeing a pattern of doing a little everyday to keep the space clean rather than doing it all at once on one day.
Yes — that does seem to be the conclusion of my very brilliant readers. I trust them – so I am going to try it!
Also: telling everyone I know to go read The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion 👌🏻
Oooo! Okay!
One billion YES! I literally can’t stop, am currently on vol 4 and I only started 5 days ago 🙈
Yes x 1,000 -- it has become my all-time favorite series.
My sisters and I are all obsessed, and I'm working on getting our mom to start the series!

Right click and a save option will pop up! (Or press down with your finger if you’re on your phone)

Yes! Sometimes I make the tasks much bigger in my mind when they really only take a few minutes.

This means so much to me. Thank you for seeing my work and so generously offering encouragement.
That picture of the watercolored plate about to be washed is priceless!
Haha — thank you so much!
Thanks for including my tip! It's been passed down from my great-grandmother, to my mother, and to me. And now to all your readers! How fun!
Thank YOU for sharing your family tradition with all of us!
SO many great tips here!!!
I immediately ordered several photo frame bag charms!! My friends are going to flip. Plus, supporting a small business? LOVE.

Surprises are a fabulous tool in the toolbox!

Such a fun read!
I used to leave all my cleaning until the weekend too, but I've learned to let go and pick things up gradually throughout the week 🫧
I am so glad you enjoyed reading! And i agree that The picking up is the heaviest lift!
