I think a fun next iteration on this would be bath decor! I made my bathroom fun and funky to add a little color to my boring white renter bathroom! I’m sure you know all the brands from seeing your space - but Baggu (towels), Dusen and dusen, quiet town, sproos, etc! I’m a designer for Kohler (faucets) so this is a bit of my passion - and we don’t get as fun with color as I’d like! I think similarly kitchen products would be fun too 🙃
Hello, I tested the Davines ‘Love’ shampoo it’s perfect for curly hair!
Also, for curly hair, I think it’s only available in the EU, but ‘La Belle Boucle’ has very good products for curls, and I recommend buying gifts for curly haired friends there!
This whole idea is so delightful — functional, joyful, and beautifully curated. I love how you’ve framed this as an ongoing encyclopedia rather than a one-off roundup. Can’t wait to see what categories you continue to explore!
I think this series may entirely curate my Christmas inspo! (for everything with a UK seller.) Reading this put me in mind of Sali Hughes' Pretty Iconic.
And as someone who does her nails every week (with standard nail polish (and my autumn starter is Eco Rose from Sally Hansen)), I'm determined to try Manicurist – looks gorgeous.
love love love this series already! here to advocate for a small soap & toiletries company from my neck of the woods: Lolo Soap Company. It’s a family founded company that takes inspiration from nature: both ingredients and the lore surrounding it. Each product is thoughtfully designed and imbued with whimsy and magic with an original art block print! Link to website: https://lolosc.com/
GROUP PROJECT:
1. Which category should I add to the encyclopedia next?
2. What is the prettiest product you have in your bathroom?
I would love to have a bedroom category including homewear !
I’m always a sucker for cool mugs that are artfully & thoughtfully made — next category for glassware please!
